Fresh Roasted Coffee Medium Roast Kenya Aa - Classic Pods, 72 Pods

Kenya AA - Classic Coffee Pods Cupping Notes: Peach Blossom, Orange Zest, Black Tea This African coffee is bright, complex, exceptionally sweet, and shares a perfect balance and floral fragrance that most wet-processed Kenyan coffees possess. Our Kenya AA coffee has less of an acidic "bite" than other African coffees, allowing those who prefer lower levels of coffee acidity to experience the dynamic wine-like brilliance, fragrant fruit notes, and silky body of our Kenya AA coffee. Roast Level: Medium-Dark, Bold Body Caffeine Level: Caffeinated Origin: Bungoma County, Kenya Altitude: 1,300 - 1,550 masl Varietal: SL 28, SL 34, Ruiru 11, Batian Process: Wet Processed Drying: Sun-Dried on Raised Tables About the Farms: Our Kenya AA coffee is a blend of AA grades from traceable sources. It comes mainly from Kimama Farmers Cooperative Society, Menu Farmers Cooperative Society, and Chwele Farmers Cooperative Society. The coffee is grown by smallholders, with roughly 200 trees each, and the freshly picked ripe cherries are delivered to cooperative wet mills. Bungoma County is slowly becoming a big coffee producing region in Kenya. With its proximity to Mt Elgon, the area provides suitable growing conditions for coffee. Bungoma Town’s history dates to the construction of the Kenya-Uganda Railway in the 1920s. The origin of the name Bungoma could have been derived from a Bukusu word “engoma”, which is a drum that the Bukusu Elders used to summon people to meetings which could have consequently led the place to be described as the place of drums, i.e. Bungoma. Ingredients: 100% Arabica coffee. OU Kosher certified. Produced in an SQF-certified, renewable energy-powered facility. This single-serve coffee is compatible with many popular K-Cup® brewing systems, including 2.0, and K-Supreme®. Keurig, K-Cup, and K-Supreme are registered trademarks of Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. Fresh Roasted Coffee LLC is neither affiliated with nor approved by Keurig Dr Pepper Inc.
